Need cheap but good digi cam

I just want to take clear 800x600 images. Don't care about higher res but images must be clear and in focus. My a70 took a leap from my truck and I never really used it much nor it's full capabilites plus it confused me with all the options so I want cheap and throw away. Thanks

Since your Canon was a 3mp, I'll suggest others in the same range. Try Fuji FinePix 303 or Minolta Dimage XT, both are small and fair capable cameras. Fuji is priced very cheaply and the minolta is heavily discounted right now. You'll have to invest in different memory cards for these though (assume your CF card survived.)
Nikon 3100 is another easy to use entry lvl camera, and it takes CF cards so you won't have to buy new memory. The simplest IMO is the Kodak Dx6340. Again, you'll have to invest in some SD cards for this one.
