Looking to build my new "dream machine" and outfit it with one of these (http://www.tomshardware.com/mainboard/01q3/010806/amd_760-07.html#abit_kg7) boards. I'm looknig to get a 1.33mhz and I won't be overclocking it, but I do want to get a decent heatsink/fan combo on there, perhaps later on move to a watercooled system. But for the meantime I've been reading about how alot of heatsink/fan combos have caused problems where they overhang the chips "safe zone" a bit and run into some of the other motherboard components. Anyone have this motherboard and a good heatsink/fan combo that can reccomend one?
thanks in advance!
The form factor around the ZIF socket is very similar to the KT7 series. A Glaciator, SK6 or Swiftech should fit. Good luck on not overclocking. With this board and CPU, it's only a matter of time.........:D

thanks for the input..Anyone got any other comments? Are these heatsink/fans decent quality? Noise isn't really a factor, neither is cost..
Those are the top there currently availble HSFs. The new Alpha that will be availble shortly should be a contender.
One thing I did not mention in my earlier post is the KG7 has larger filter caps below the ZIF socket. You will need to be careful when seating the HSF clip.

okay being non-technical here..what are "filter caps"?
And what should I be careful of? Breaking them? Ruining them?
They are the little cans mounted in a row just below the ZIF socket. You don't want to put much pressure on them. If you bend them over very far, your board will stop working.
