Memory Upgrade

Alright my buddy has a Dell Dimension 4550. He wants to upgrade. He wants better CPU cooling, replace the stock fans, and add fans, add more memory (needs DDR SDRAM PC2700), and add another hard drive. Now I am an AMD guy and always will be so I know nothing about them and I am doing the upgrades because he is totally illiterate. Can you guys help me?

Can you please post his stats so I don't have to search for his model, plus he could've purchashed a dimension 4550 with a faster CPU as an "upgrade." Thanks in advance

Yeah, my friend is worthless, I know it is P4 2.66 with 256MB ram, intergrated video and sound. As far as I know everything is stock.

here http://reviews-zdnet.com.com/Dell_Dimension_4550_series__for_home_/4507-3118_16-20478986.html is were I found the specs for it. He added a Lite-On CD-rw drive. Also does anyone know what type of memory it uses, I think it is DDR PC2700, but not sure. I thought Intel used a different type.
