View Full Version : Confusion w/ Non-Graphical Version
I initially had the GUI version of the F@H client but decided to get rid of it and DL the non-graphical version to see which one works better for me, I decided to stick with the non-GUI.
So here goes the question, I was checking my processes in my task manager and I saw a FahCore_78.exe and FahCore_65.exe working simultaneously, is this supposed to happen? and if so why use two cores... If not, what should I do? Thanks for any advice.

I suspect that you didn't uninstall the GUI version first. The 65 is for Tinkers and the 78 core is for Gromacs. This means that you are currently running a Tinker and a Gromac at the same time.
This is probably not what you wanted to do. There is no harm as long as the deadlines are met.
Delete the GUI version .exe and the rest will take care of itself.
I did uninstall the GUI version but it left a bunch of stuff in the folder and the WU I was working on was a quarter of the way done so I opted to just but the non-GUI version in the old GUIs folder, what should I do now?
GUI.exe is gone BTW, which core belongs to it?

I would uninstall both and then reinstall the one you want.
thoe there is nothing wrong with running 2, thats what I do.
As soon as this thing is done I'll delete the folder.
Thanks all :D

Save the 'client.cfg' and 'FAH4Counsole.exe'. If you delete the rest, you will get a clean start without having to set it all up again.
Is there any way to "move" my already completed frames or do I HAVE TO start from a clean slate?
