Alright so I have an Intel D865Perl motherboard, I don't really know much about memory though. I have a 2.7 pentium chip and an fx5950 ultra, and I think I need some newer ram to get the most performance out of my system. I have $200 to spend, if this isn't enough i can probably shell out another 100 i suppose. I currently have 2 sticks of 256mb DDR400 PC3200. Can anyone make recommendations to what type of RAM I should invest in, and if I should add on to what I have or replace it totally?

Maybe you should have a try on the A-data pc4000 512mb ram, I seen people have some success on overclocking that ram at xtremesystems.

you shouldnt just add on unless its exactly the same. also, you cant oc with that board, so theres not too much you can do
