to hit 240fsb and around 2.6ghz ....

You may push the ram too far if 240fsb is what you have in mind, ch5 usually can do pretty tight timing, but not high fsb without giving A LOT of voltage into the ram.

right...too late ive bought the 512mb twinmos ch-5 winbond chips pc3200.. i have seen reviews of it clockin up as high as 244fsb...... would 230fsb be decent in an amd 2500xp mobile system ?? any recommendations on this ram will help

i would say 230 would be about the max that you would want it at perm.
