i added a 120mm fan in the front and back. they are the medium noise panaflows. i am going to add some reostats soon. those holes were a lot easier to cut than i thought they would be.

here is the front:

here is a pic of the back. i would like to add dual PSU, but after that 120mm hole i dont have room unless they will fit vertically

i still want to paint the drives. and i need to find something to cover the jagged edges of my front intake.

its got like 10 coats on it. 2 coats of primer: i think like 5 or 6 coats of black and just 3 coats of red. it was hard as hell to get the black to come out smooth. i still did't get it perfect! and last i put on 4 or 5 coats of clear acrylic. i started loosing count at the end!

what do ya think? what can i do to make it better?

man it looks great,
I like the black and red....what color are you going to paint your cdroms?
I just painted my case black and gold with gold glitter and about 4 coats of clear, after i get about 10 or more clear coats on I'm going to paint my monitor and speakers to match.

The case it self is real hard to get smooth because the metel isn't smooth. I didn't use any primer or sanding, I probably should have but I was to much in a hurry to start painting.

i like it...nice and shiney ;) i am going with a flat black approach on my case and with the swoosh i have on the front of my case go chrome....so it will match my holes i will be drilling (fan grills).

i didt't mean smooth to the touch i ment smooth to the eye. i did a little sanding of the old paint, not to the metal though. the pic looks better than the real thing. it looks a little "splochy" (is that a word:-P), its go some lite and dark spots. as for the CD_ROMS i guess i will paint them black to match the bay covers, but i was thinking maybe brite yellow or something to clash with the black and red ;-0

Very Nice Overload. Very clean too.

Just a suggestion but some plastic tubing around the power wires might make it a bit more stylish but its just a very small observation.

Nice job.

Thanks for all the good comments and suggestions.

I have noticed that little or no air is coming out my PSU fan. i guess my 2 120's are over powering it. i have heard others mention this. how can i correct it?

To fix your problem with the PSU fan, make sure that you have the same number of CFMs of air going in as coming out. For instance, if you have a PSU fan going out, and a 120 going out, a whatever that is on the front (120?) going in, and your CPU just stirring things around, all you will get is lots out of the 120, nothing out of the PSU. You've gotta balance your in and out airflow. I would suggest putting in a fan sucking air in to match your PSU's output. As to where to put it, I would say a side intake right over your CPU and AGP. Taht's just my preferance though. HTH.

Yes the ratio must be close.

For example, I have 4 120s blowing in with 3 120s and 2 92s blowing out. Keep it close and you'll be fine.

Looks great overload! I like contrasty colors that stand out. The 120s look cleanly placed. I got that case too and I have to mod it for a friend (silver and black). He wants a 120 out front too and I am dreading it cause the front is not flat but has a "s" curved surface. Was it a pain to mount and are you gonna put a chrome grill on it?

here is a closeup pic of the front. i just put the fan on the inside of the case and the grill on the outside of the chassis. then i stuffed some filter material between that and the plastic. as you can see the edge is a little jaged but i am going to put something around it so you cant tell. also i left the bottom part flat because i didn't want to cut into the folded part on the bottom, i though it would look real crappy if i did. it looks kind of funny as is but i think it will look better after i put some trim or a duct on it.

Looks like a great paint job, nice work Overload. Get some of that rubber blowhole trim for the front hole, it looks great and will cover any jagged edges you have :)

I bought mine from tekheads.co.uk but as they're a UK vendor it's probably not a lot of use to you guys in the US. I'm sure you can buy it there, I'm not sure where but if I can find anywhere I'll let you know. Tekheads used to have pictures of it but they've got rid of them now

Here's (http://www.pcmods.com/details.asp?prodID=19) something like it at pcmods.com - the stuff I have is rounded rather than being that straight-edged 'C-shaped' design. But other than that they're the same.
