i was given 1 Gb hynix bt-D43 some days ago. I've read that it is a good chip for overclocking.

Who's got that ram ? what freq, ehat timings.

thanx alot :)

I just picked up 512 of it myself. From what I've read timings of 2.5-4-4-7 or 2.5-4-3-11 if yoour running amd should be possible at speeds up to and exceding 250 with 2.9v

my actual mobo has 2.8V max and the one i'll @the end of the week 2.7. ---> is 210 - 215 mhz possible @ that voltage ?

you should get alot higher than that 2.7 maybe 220-230 2.8 should get ya 230-240, you won't get real tight timings no matter what ya do
edit: is this a hynix brand pair of sticks or is it made by someone else with hynix chips?

Highest I could get was 292Mhz 1:1 with 3-4-4-8 timings

if u got the earlier binned d43 ie. early 03, really scales well with voltage . the newer binned stuff late 03- early 04 reaches its max with very little voltage,2.8-2.9v it also runs tighter timings at lower speeds, ie 2-3-3-5 around 215-220. also will run 2.5-4-4-7 at hi speeds.. if its the newer stuff, u can expext 260-270. if u are lucky and get some good chips 275+
