I don't think I will ever buy a used keyboard or mouse, especially from somebody I don't know or don't know who has used it.

Heh no kidding. Seriously I dont care if its been put through an acid bath using a used keyboard is gross. You have no idea whats been on that thing :D .

True but I think these are most likely business leases, probably about a year old and probably less used than any of our keyboards could ever be.

I bought a 'virgin' black compaq keyboard and mouse a few years back, apparently LiteOn made them for compaq and made more than Compaq wanted. I payed $2 for the mouse and $3 for the USB multimedia/internet keyboard. Liteon threw their logo over the compaq one, I found that quite funny.

Anyway if I were looking for a replacement keyboard for a rig that I didn't use often, I would probably consider used/refurb/overstock before I go and spend $10 on a new name brand one.
