What slots do i need to put my ocz performance pc4000 2x256 ram in. I have it in 1 and 3 and also do i need to turn on dual chan. mode in bios or ne thing. jw thnx

You are in dual channel mode with that configuration. No settings need to be changed in the bios. By putting your RAM in those slots it activated dual channel.

It should say dual channel as its booting. Mine does at least.

You can also place the 2nd stick next to the 1st stick and also be in dual channel mode. They are the 2 slots furthest from the cpu. Not sure if that's slots 1&2 or 3&2 but that's were I have mine and I'm running in dual channel mode.

Okay I RTFM.... DIMM sockets 2 and 3 for dual channel mode.
