1.2 @ 1.4... Stable or is it?

Hey all. I have a 1.2 and was a boob and didn't check the code before i installed it. Anyhow, it's fine at 10 x 133 or at 9.5 x 140 but I can't get it stable at 10 x 140 or 10.5 x 133, no matter what I do. It loads into windows just fine, runs Prime95 just fine but when I start a 3d game it crashes in about 10 minutes. My VCore is at max. Does this sound like i'm reaching the limit of my CPU or is this something else? Thanks for any advice.

What are you using for cooling. You could do a voltage mod and water cooling if you really want a large overclock. Other than that I would say upgrade to a premium heatsink/fan if you dont already have one. Hopfully your not using the one that came with the retail pack, if you bought a retail pack. If it is an AXIA - 9 then I would think that as only a little lower than average.

Hehe. No. I'm using a ThermoEngine with a Delta fan. Slightly modded case with good airflow. At 1.92 VCore (1.85 and the KT7A bumps it up higher for some reason) and 1.4 GHz my temps max out at 43 C.
