I have an AMD Athlon Barton XP 2800+. The rest of my system info is in my sig. My 2800+ is locked.

I plan to run Prime95 24/7, but I want to overclock my CPU first so that it can run Prime95 as quickly as possible.

I plan to raise the CPU FSB by 5 mhz until I hit a stability boundry and then back off 2 mhz to see if it's stable. If it is still not stable I will raise the vcore .25 and test again. I plan to let Prime run overnight and then check to make sure the temperatures and the test are ok. Does this sound like a good plan? Also, how far should my 2800+ OC to?

i got mine to 12.5 x 190 = 2375Mhz , my PC-2100 is at it limit

basicly start with your FSB stock 166 and up it lil by lil dont make too big of steps. you should get a pertty good oc
