Hi,

I have a 1.33 t-bird and am running fine at 1496mhz. I want to get higher but past 1500mhz I am unstable and running hot (48-52C) under load.

I have a 250w Powersupply (AMD Approved). Should I concider a 300w or a 400w instead? Will that help with stability and overclocking. Please give me some suggestions. Many Thanks!

What are your current voltage readings at you highest overclock?

My Voltage is 1.79. Its been hot here so my Ambiant temp is 90f and CPU Temp under load is running 52- 53C at the highest.

Even when it was cooler here, I cant get past 1500mhz without some problems like crashing and occasional blue screens.
I am stable at 1496mhz (136x11.0)

Haven't you tried to increase the Vcore a little bit I know I did in my old comp and it worked for me.

Yes,

I tryed to increase Vcore, however I get my CPU temp to high when I do that.

Your voltages do need seem to indicate that your power supply is overloaded.
It aslawys good to have more than needed but as to yuor original question I would doubt it.
