So, I am new to OCing. I have a KD7 board, 2500 XP CPU (locked), 450W PS, and only want to set the FSB to 200 in the BIOS but end up with a good beep and black screen when I "Save & Exit". I then reset the BIOS and the Memory Clock is at 400, CPU is seen as 1100MHz and it says the CPU settings are flawed somehow. This is irritating. I only want the simple FSB boost nothing complex.

Can anyone help?

Your memory has to be able to go at 200 mhz (PC3200)

it would be a good idea to find the options to speed up the fsb gradually....

go from 166 to like 170 just to see if you can change it at all, then make your way to 200 in small steps. The faster you go, the smaller the steps.
