I just pulled apart my entire water setup and replaced all the tubing with nice new not yellowed stuff :-).

I completely emtpied and refilled the system with fresh bottled water :-). I didnt have any "Water Wetter" left over so right now its running on pure 100% water with nothing added.

It used to top out at around 43 C or so but now it will shoot up to 50-51 C and go even higher if I leave it under full load!

I have checked everything over and over and cant see any mistakes in my install. Does water wetter really help this much? Is the bottled water worse than the old tap water I threw in there before?!

Very confused right now, about to rip this damn thing back apart and see what I can do but its such a pain in the a**!

I have water wetter it didn't decrease my temps either :-( just use the tap water and if you can just get a lil antifreeze to stop the water from corroding your components and tubing and you will be fine :-) gl

Actually, distilled water is better as it doesn't containg minerals and stuff like tap water does. Water Wetter is used to help lower temps (it helps a bit, and every bit helps) and to help prevent corrosion.

Finally figured out what it was!

I bought the braided type tubing which isnt as flexable. I did my best to make the turns as wide as I could with the space I was working with but the tubing was pulling so hard it was lifting the water block off the cpu enough to make it ineffective.

If the dangerden block didnt come with those little plastic bolts and springs I dont think it would be a problem. I would remove the springs but I dont know if the plastic bolts themselves would be enough.

Anyone replaced the plastic parts with real bolts/screws? Cant wait to crack this cpu bolting it down lol

I used some bolts and springs I got from home depot. Only prob I have is I end up compressing the springs completely to get a good seat. I will look for some higher compression springs some day but it works for now. The bolt are 10/32 type if I recall correctly. I attached a pic it's not the best I will try to get a better one later tonite.
