hey again guys!

i have a few updates after i installed my new 400watt drive and burned in the cpu and bought some new ram i am able to get the system stable at 1585 mhz.1.33 151fb/10.5 using 2.05 vcore.loaded temps are 50c thats with prime 95 and watching a movie at the same time.im using the goldengate(lapped)with a delta 7k 38cfm on a kt7a-raid.i think this may be it for aircooled unless i wanted to spring for a swiftek.

laters guys

p.s. im trying to get some parts together for cheap watercooling allthough i know nothing about it

A very very nice overclock, keep up the good work.

As for watercooling, my advice is dont do it unless you have money to burn. I say this because you wont see barely any MHz improvement from that chip. Yes you may get to 1.6GHz if you get a bit lucky :) But I doubt youll get anything past that. So if your only getting the watercooling to get the CPU faster, then dont. But if you just want it, for some weirdo reason, then be my guest :)

I am very impressed with your temps! I just bought that same heatsink/fan from svc myself. I am geting your temps not overclocked!! BUT that is becuase I dont have an sandpaper and so I didnt use artice silver II either. I am going to save it untill after I lap it. Mine is actually very rough on the botem!! It needs a serius lap, it came out of the box with scratches some a full inch long, and very very far from a mirror like reflection!!! Well I hope I can get those temps after I lap mine, I also got a 3g tube of artic silver II, so I plan to really lower my temps. Once I do then I might even be able to o/c this 1.4ghz a bit :D
