In laymans terms: The higher the FSB (FrontSide Bus), the faster the computers memory system will be, resulting in improved performance.

Memory would be DDR (Double Data Rate) so the FSB will read as double the actual memory clock.

266= 133mhz fsb stock

333= 166mhz fsb stock

Mobile processors are processors set aside for laptops that can run at thier designated speed at a low voltage (generally they are 1.45v). They usually default to 133fsb, but can run much higher. Desktop users (such as myself) buy them because they can be overclocked well since they have alot of voltage headroom. So the result can be a processor that is purchased for a low price that will run faster than AMD's top of the line AthlonXP (3200+).

Moreover, the mobile Athlon XP's are all unlocked, that means you can overclock by changing the CPU multiplier + FSB, the newer desktop ones are all locked.
