I've been thinking this over for a bit and would like to get your input on the following. I know that the majority of us including myself would balk at buying a "pretested" cpu. Buying a pretested cpu takes the fun and experimentation out of the overclocking process. Now my question is whether paying a premium for a certain stepping is similiar to paying a premium for a pretested cpu? The reason I ask this is that i'm considering a cpu upgrade and am interested in the new AYHJAR cores. I can pick up a 1.0 gig for 86 dollars shipped on newegg or pay 94 plus S & H for a AYHJAR core. Anyone have any thoughts about this?
