I was looking into getting a new mother board and CPU, My bro has a A7N8X and its sweet, but is it any good for OC a mobile chip? The CPU I was looking at getting is the 2400XP-M.

As a good stable board they are great, I used one for my silent rig for a while. The problem is they aren't known for getting the highest FSB. If you want the best o/c then go for the DFI Ultra Infinity or Lan Party B. They are same board just the Lan Party has all the UV stuff. Second is the Abit NF7(-S). A very good board but the voltages don't go as high as the DFI.

I had an A7N8X-D and could only get to 213 FSB without going crazy on voltages.

Now i have my NF7-S and am at 222 FSB, with more room to go (as im still testing).
