Im looking for a free virus removal tool... i ran a scan on pcpitstop and it turned up with 2 trojans. i would prefer not to install something like mcaffee, but I will if I have to

AVG is a good program. i have been using if for along time now. i can be found Here (http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl_free.php) This is the free one

I like free-AVG too. I had other free ones that let virus in. AVG has keep me clean and seems to take little in the way of system resources. I dislike McAfee and Norton becasue they tend to take too much of my machine to do the job.

I also use AVG on 4 computers in my house. I have gotten virus's before but only because i dont run it all the time, just do a scan every week. Its a really good program and has cleaned all the virus's i have had. If I was to buy a program though I would get Pc-cillian. Had the 2000 version it was great.

Symantec.com has tons of free virus removers. You just have to know the name of the virus and then download the remover and your problem is solved.
