How to measure CPU temp w/o HWM

My old computer doesn't have a Hardware Monitor and I try to overclock it
with adding some Vcore. I'm afraid to do that because I can't get the exact
CPU temp. Does any one has an idia on how can I measure the temp of the CPU
with external devices and how are they called so I can buy 'em?

Pik up an Enermax/Compu Nurse strip sensor with digital readout. I believe Crazy PC sells them.

If you like do it your self you could try the Radio Shack indoor/outdoor thermometer also. Look at:

I think the digital doc or compunurse is good also, like hoot said.
