How do I know if I have BH-5 RAM?

Sorry for the terribly noob question, but I just heard about this. I have some Mushkin PC3200 Promo Dual pack, (2x512MB) 222 RAM. How can I check if this is BH-5?

I think all PC3200 mushkin 222 ram is BH-6.

I think it says under the heatspreaders if you dont mind removing them.

I bought this ram on 5/03 if that makes a difference (brand new direct from Mushkin).

If it is "Special 222" then it is BH-6. If it is plain LII then it is BH-5.

The invoice simply says '(2x512MB) 222'.

I wouldnt be upset about either one.

infact Id be putting them on ebay right about now with a buy it now around 350.

Take the heatspreads off and look at the RAM chips.

Only way to know for sure.

Mushkin used Winbond BH-5 chips for 2-2-2 PC-3200 Promo-builds from 2003.
