Well, we just got new workstations here at the office, and on the spec sheet I noticed we've all got Quadro FX3000's. I was pretty happy, to say the least. :D
Some guys at the office were asking what kind of differences in performance these professional graphics cards displayed as opposed to consumer enthusiast cards, and I wasn't sure and didn't really have any benchmarks to show. Can anyone give a general overview of the differences in performance and applicable uses for the FX3000 contrasted to a similar consumer card (obviously the 3000 isn't built as a gaming card, but specific differences, perhaps, in benchmarks and real-world applications and uses)?
Just curious, as I know this is a great card, but I like having something to compare things to so I can have a frame of reference.
Thanks guys,
- Dave
