When I reach different FSB settings, I get erratic memory dumps in win2k. Is this the top of my o'cing with this rig, or does this mean my stick of 512 Nanya DDR is not as good as I'd hoped?

It could mean both.

Memory dumps when overclocking are one of the issues that creep up as an indication of instability. If backing off a few mhz resolves this, then that higher speed was indeed unstable and thus isn't a good overclock for that chip.

I'm not that fluent with the mem settings in the Bios. I'm sure that would have some impact on this as well, right?
ie I can set my DDR to 2 or 2.5 and I'm not home so I can't remember the text but the other setting is 2T or 1T.
I'm thinking lower is faster, so I set it at 2 and 1T.

I hope this makes sense, If there is a "simple" FAQ or article on BIOS memory settings in conjunction with overclocking please point me that way :)
BTW thanks for the response!

The lower the number, the faster ;) -- and less stable.
