i just got my LP B and i must say that i am overwhelmed. all i have ever used was ABit boards with VIA chipsets...

the bios setting in this thing are outragous.

i have a 230mhz FSB now. can someone recomend any timing changes(they are all stock) and maby if there is a different bios...it has original...

sorry for my ignorace

Try to run 2-2-2-2-6-15-13-e-a-f-e if you can...if not you may have to disable the last one (Command per Clock or CPC for short). Also try increasing the voltage. The tight timings make a big difference to overall system speed. If it still isn't stable try 2-3-3-2-11-15-13-e-a-f-d or even 2-3-3-3-11-15-13-e-a-f-d. Note the 6 and 11 at the end are sometimes faster set to 6 or 11 you'll have to check yours. Unfortunately each are different. I got lucky with a matched set of OCz PC300EL that's doing 250MHz 2-2-2-2-6-15-13-e-a-f-d @ 3.3V right now :D.

Well I got to tune a little. 234 FSB 11x Timing 2-2-2-2-6-16-16. I must say the benchmarks are looking good. I will post some screen shots later but 3D mark 2001 scored 19090. I have got alot of tweaking to go I think. Its all cheap air cooled right now though I will aleast put a SP97 in but after some reading Im going to watercool it. But there should be #s to get with it the way it is with the right tuning. Thanks for the reply. Its going to take some hit & miss to get it up from here. Wow this thing is rock solid too.

I'm no expert on this stuff but I would say your getting better bandwidth then I am with CPC on (I can't turn it on after about 220MHz). That is what I've been seeing on the boards anyway. I use a mix of PCMark2k2, SiSoft Sandra and Prime95 benchmark to see if my scores are up or down. Unfortunately memory is very hard to bench in real world use from my understanding.

I can run as high as 250 with CPC on. But I have BH6 mem (Mushkin 222 Special). But I do have to pull timings back alittle. It also runs faster @ 242 than it does at 250, but I run the timing as tight as I can get it at that speed. Sandra bench on the mem is 3856\3673 bandwidth.
