Memory Question

My friend wants to add memory to his dell. According to the cpu-z readout it says his memory is DDR-SDRAM, and according to the specs, he needs either DDR333 or 266 non-ECC. Now is sdram what amd's use? Or is it the 168pin memory vs my 184pin memory

sdram is not the type it is the format of almost all DDR,
DDR is is the type not the format

only pc100 and pc133 is 168
all ddr is 184

so basically I can give him my leftover pc2700 from my amd system?
