Duplicate computer name exists on network?

I set up my network a couple of months ago and everything worked fine. Recently, though, I started getting that error every time I start windows on my second machine. The computer that I'm getting the error on doesn't have the same name as any of the computers on my network. Now I can't access that computer on the network. How can I fix this?

If that aint it have you tried just renaming your workgroup for your network and see what happens.

Also is there an event ID in your logs for your error?
