Cmos battery low. Cmos memory size wrong?

This is the message i get when i boot up my old computer. I have replaced the Cmos battery and cleared cmos and it still gets the same response.

"Cmos battery low, CMOS memory wrong size"

Its a Pcc Chips motherboard for a amd athlon xp 1500+. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem and what might be wrong?

Replace the battery? That migt make the whole message go away, if it's triggered by something like low voltage off the battery. It's a watch-type battery on your motherboard. Read off he model number from it and o buy a new one.
