Does anyone know of an MP3 to WAV converters that you don't have to pay for or register for?

You got Winamp? If so, you're in luck! You don't have to downlad any new program (or use Sound Recorder :D )

Load up the MP3s you want into the playlist, and then hit ctrl-p. This will bring up the properties box. Go to "Output" under "Plug-Ins", and select "Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in". Hit the configure button, and select where you want to sore the WAV files. Hit OK, and then "Close" and play your playlist. They will play REALLY fast, so make sure you have the repeat (looping) off. As they play, they will be converted to WAV files for you. This works for ANYTHING that Winamp will play.

If you don't have Winamp, I'd suggest getting it (www.winamp.com). It's my favorite MP3 player. :)

I use audiocatalyst, very nice little app -- brethren of Adio Grabber, another top notch app.

If you have questions about either feel free to instant message or email me (through my profile).
