I'm not pingable??

Hiyas!

Just a quick question, why wouldnt I be pingable?

Ive had really bad lag and packet loss the last week or two, I can't play my Everquest 8(. Ive been running "pingplotter" and ran this test:

I'm wondering if anyone knows what this means? Im running WinXP SP1, directly connected to a Terayon TJ210 cable modem, with windows firewall on.

Any help would be great!

not being pingable will not cause packet loss or lag. to answer your question your not pingable because "windows firewall on" the firewall makes your comp unpingable.



have you ran dslreports tweak test? it may tell you more of why you get packet loss.

I'll give that a try, thanks! Sorry, I dont know much about 'net connections etc, had I thought it through , I may have figured it out!
