I plan on mounting my radiator to the top on my case, horizontally, as many have before.
my question is the following: what is the best setup for maintaining water level in the system, and keeping air out?
1.)airtrap similar to turbokeu's
2.)t-line mounted horizontally right after the radiator with the fill part of the t vertical
3.)give me another solution
thanks

i take it you don't like resevoirs?
i'd put t fitting (or res mounted to pump intake) right before the pump. That's easiest for filling, because you need to have the liquid in the impeller so it can be pushed through everything.

Honestly? LOL
Turbokeu's air trap and bleed system kicks butt if you ask me. Simple and effective.
He's using a rad that doesn't get air trapped in it when horizontal like our heatercores. Always have to tip my case to the side a bit to get the trapped air out of it when I fill it up for the first time. Sometimes I have to remove my rad and stand it up-right while bleeding. After that, it's good to go.
You could do a res but bulky. Turbokeu's air trap and bleed is the best I have tried to date. To me that's the way to go.

no space for one, wait until you see all that ends up in my case. it's a 10 bay, 4 5.25inch bays and 6 3.5 inch bays.
I'll be installing a caprice, two torins, 2 optical drives, 4 fans, one floppy, and 3 HDs.
the tline there would be a good idea, but the air would collect in the radiator, and I don't like that

no room even for a 5.25 or 3.5 bay-res? The look so uber!!! And work even better!

problem:
PSU must be moded to take up two of the 4 5.25 bays
optical drives take up the other two
6 3.5 inch drive bays (7, sorta)
floppy
space
hd1
space
hd2
space
hd3
I need the space for cooling, and i hate resivoirs anyway, all they do is crack and leak
how about doing a dodgeviper like mod. bith the fill/bleed barb or tube thing from the radiator

the airtrap works great, i tried it yesterday, smacked myself afterwards for using a Tline for 2 years, argh..
but it won't work if u want two inlets (which is in my case :()

haha i know what you mean about having a lot in your case
i had 2 pumps, 2 double 120mm rads, 3 water blocks, 8 fans, 3 hard drives, 1 cdrw, 1 fan controller, 1 pci raid card ;)
I think t-line will work best for you. it isn't bad bleeding, just give it a couple days to get all the bubbles out.
