Stupid pop up

Hey all!

I have come into the probably most common problem -- stupid pop ups, however these are not any ordinary pop ups. I have run the new adaware, deleted files and folders I never installed and also ran through the registry manuelly as well as adaware automatically doing it. I have also cleared temp internet files and cookies. The pop ups only come up when I close internet explorer and it is really starting to agrivate me. Does anyone know of a program that tells you were the source of the pop up is so I can go delete the damn bugger. Thanks for your help

run adaware from www.lavasoftusa.com and then what i use to block popups is the google tool bar. you can get it at http://toolbar.google.com/

I have used adaware and it has not gotton this one, I also have pop up stopper and it does not get these becuase they are probably a script somewhere. This is why these darn 2 pop ups each time keep bothering me.

Never mind guys. When Xenocide mentioned adaware agian I tried it again but updated it to the most current version and found the little bugger --- hidding in one of the the windows folders with a name that I would have been afraid to delete :)
