Would this ram work for me??

HI...got a nforce2 ultra 400 shuttle board, athlon xp 2500M, Im getting some Kingston HyperX 500mhz DDR pc4000. Im planning to OC atleast 220mhz or more, can you experts please tell me if this ram will work for this????? Thanks.

You're spending way too much if you get that RAM. AMD systems work much better with RAM that can do tight timings. Get some Mushkin 2-2-2 Special PC3200 or some BH-5 if you can get your hands on it. If you have that much money to spend, you might as well get the right stuff.

Yes it will support a FSB frequency of 250mhz at the timings it is rated for.

Sorry I love love those BH5, but I can't afford 350 bucks So should I get these ram Kingston hyper x??

It seems that this stuff should be selling pretty damn good since it is mostly original marking Winbond BH-5, but both Newegg and ZZF have it for just about the same price. Does anyone know something about this RAM that is keeping it on the store shelves or is it that no one is buying it because of the odd PC3000 speed rating?
