then added
1 chip of Mushkin Basic 256mb PC2100 2.5

everything should be cool with this right?
just because the different brands it shouldn't cause a problem should it?

Best bet would be to ask on mushkins message board.
Its one of those maybe, maybe not things.

Logic tells me it will work fine. both are PC2100, and they are both 2.5ns. So it should work. I would just try it. The worst that'll happen is it won't work. Not likely to fry the board. But don't take my word for it. :rolleyes:
