FireFox 0.8 shaking

Ok I was using firefox, my video card crashed from overheating ( fan disided to stop) so my computer crashed,

well I reboot and load up firefox, all my bookmarks and homepage are gone, but my history is still there.


And to make things more weird, firefox is shaking up and down about 10 pixels I think, going up and down quite quickly, making it hard to actually consintrate on the webpages.

anyone have this problem?

if I was not busy I would attempt to recreate it and e-mail mozilla, instead I will tell them about it when I am finnished my work, maybe attempt to recreate it later

its a bug thats been in it for sometime, but its only happens when the bookmark toolbar is on and dosen't have anything in it.

Firefox is still flakey. I've only had the bookmark thing happen to me a few times, however. I'm not exactly sure why it happens, either. I think it could be shutting down when reading from or writing to the bookmark file, but I'm not 100% sure.

i have been having stability problems with firefox lately. It crashes my computer hard every once in a while (2 times a day, on average). My comp is prime stable, but not firefox stable apparently.

You should download MozBackup (http://backup.jasnapaka.com/) to backup your bookmarks. There's nothing more annoying to find out that all your bookmarks are gone and you have no way of recovering them.

ive been having trouble with some links in firefox.....sometimes they open and sometimes they dont but they work in IE...i dont know whats goin on
