I know when you load windows it asks if there are any 3rd party RAID/SCSI drivers that need to be installed. Then you load the drivers from your mobo floppy. Well for some reason it won't let me get that far.
I t won't boot off my cd, it automatically trys to install Raid drivers. The message says press (ctrl+s) F4 to enter RAID utility. Then when I don't press anything it says disk boot failure.Insert system disk and press enter.
Another thing I'm not sure of is do I have to use the SATA to IDE (with the Adaptor) or can I plug a single SATA drive into the the SATA connecter without using RAID? LOL ,I feel like a newb but beh..oh well, I'm confused ;).
EDIT: NVM ...The problem was, I had reversed the IDE cables on my cdrom and it was booting from the wrong drive...:o
