Do you get better performance with one large chip???

Just wondering if there is any performance to be gained by using one stick of 256 mb ram, or just the 2 128's? Or even going with a 512 stick of ram? :rolleyes:

I found that larger sticks of RAM (or 128 vs 512). There is something you really look for, coz some 512 sticks would support CAS 2. And it also really depends on how any slots you have on your mobo.

i dont think that there are any performance increaases by using 1 stick versus 3 other than using less from the PS caus there are not volts going to the other stick

1 stick theoretically should be faster becasue there are less pages to be dumped.
