I see the 2500 mobile is 91 on newegg, and the 2600 is 99.

The 8 dollar difference doesnt mean anything to me, naturally I would think "get the 2600," but from what I have read, the 2500 gets a better oc.

So should I get the 2500 or 2600?

Ive heard from many pplz that the 2600+ are higher quality than the 2500s. Especailly since no one is buying alot of them, it gives AMD a chance to bin good ones.

The 2500 just gets more press as they have been around longer and more people have them. I have a feeling its a cheaper version of the 2500 Barton to a 2800 Barton. The same chip just a little more stock speed. I had a 2500M but burned it up under condensation. It was a damn good chip too. :( I am replacing it with a 2600 in hopes that it's better. I figure for $9.00 more why not give it a shot.
