i definately do not recomend putting the plasma ball in case due to emi distortion unless oyu can mount it in a way to put a grounded shield in between it and all other components.
btw it says no emi is caused by this device but i find that really hard to believe. it may not be enough to effect your monitor but your hard drives are much more sensitive

I see you put a blower on the Silencer. Have you tried take the shroud off completely?
