Linksys driver and sniffer question

Is there a sniffer program that I can use for a Linksys 54g PCI card? I am using the windows wireless program that is built into XP, but it keeps kicking me off the net. I also have to manualy log on to the net when I start up My puter. I have a freind who has a D-Link 520+ PCI card and his card came with a great sniffer program that automaticaly logs him on the net and allows him to control his connection and wep key by using the sniffer, not Windows. Is it me or does some wireless cards have good driver support or does some cards have crap support? Does The wireless software built into XP suck or is it any good?

Yeah, it's just driver software. Some software is good, other software is not so good.

Packet sniffers are a different thing, these would be network control programs.

Use the linksys software. If you lost the disk just downloiad it from linksys. and make sure you disable the windows one;)
