I am NOT able to play yahoo games anymore. My java applet does not load and I have tried NUMEROUS things. I have tried removing and reinstalling a new copy of internet explorer, but it won't remove successfully. You may ask why I posted in this forum - the reason is that it isn't a gaming issue, its more of a browser issue. Has anyone else had a problem?

Have you tried downloading and installing the java vm plug-in (http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_manual.jsp)?

thanks for the reply legendary. and yes, i have java vm currently installed into my computer. Yahoo's last resort is installing a fresh copy of internet explorer. however, my computer cannot remove Internet explorer properly. anyone else have any ideas?
what OS are you running? if you go in the downloaded program files in the windows/winnt directory and delete anything signed by yahoo it should reload the yahoo applet. it works when yahoo chat screws up for me

How to repair IE...
launch REGEDIT
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Componets\{89820200-ECBD-11cf-8B85-00AA005B4383}
double click on the DWORD value and change it to 0
Close regedit
Go to windows update site
It should let you update IE...and this should correct the Java script problem...

You are missing the 'Type' column which is where it would say REG_DWORD next to IsInstalled (the blue one).
