good question...i think if you set it to BY SPD it will give you them...they arent tight though. my muchkin lvl2 (3200)will do 3-2-2-2 at 223 (Probly more, my mobo is limiting...i even had it at 2-2-2-2, but it wasnt stable)

why would you want the default speeds?

Seems my ram didnt like aggressive settings at 250mhz, as its spec'ed for 233. Is that a good reason? LOL

in my earlyer post i said i had 3200...that was a lie, it is 3500. read my sig, then cracked her open to find...wow, i feel dumb.
i'd still like ot know why, though
