The maximum I've managed at dual channel with my 2X512MB HyperX KHX3000 is around 230MHz at 3.05v. I tried higher speeds with higher vdimm but it just didn't work. 3.2v doesn't help even for 234MHz! What can be the reason?

I'm using MemTest86+, especially test number 5, and another strange thing I've noticed is that when I loop over test 5 then the first 4 times would pass cleanly, and problems would start only from the 5th times up. I've seen this behavior many times now to think it's a coincidence. What's the explanation?

Are you positive it's BH-5? I thought a good bit of this KHX3000 still floating around was CH5 or CH6, too ... how long have you had the sticks?

What do your modules say on the heatspreader? Could be, you have BH-6?

On the box sticker it says:

KHX3000/512
DESCRIPTION:
512MB Memory Module
512MB PC3000 CL2 184-Pin DIMM
WINBOND ASSY IN THE USA

The sticker on the memories says:

KHX3000/512
9905193-023.A00
1242354-0360176* 2.5V
ASSY IN USA CE

* The second dimm has 1242354-0358365 here. I guess the second number is the serial number of the dimm

I don't think it's BH-6. I think BH-6 loves voltage even more than BH-5, no?

Well you might have just reached those sticks limits. 240 isn't too bad imo, mine takes 3.3v to get to 240. Try testing each stick seperatly and see if you can find the one thats maxing out. Send the other to me. ;)
