Heatsink Question for 1200T-Bird

Just ordered a 1200 Socket A t-bird for my A7V. Also ordered an Orbit Socket fan from XcalPC. My question does anyone have experience with this cooler ?

(should have checked AMD's list first, oh well -live and learn)

Paid 25.00. Looks like the golden Orb, but appears to be Aluminum

ckoht ....those golden orb HSF are s***. They are not really meant for AMD T-bird at 1.2. I had an Titan Alum Ord for my old 1.1 Gig chip and it was the greatest piece of s***. Under load my CPU temps went up to 65C and idle 55-60C. I soon learn my lesson and quickly got rid of it. I am now cooling my 1.4 Gig chip with a Thermalright SK6 the best copper HSF there is.....

I crushed my last T-bird with an orb... so I think you can imagine what I think of them :)

I use a Delta38 on a lapped retail HSF.
