Is it possible my mobo (A7N8X Rev2 Uber v1007 bios...unmodded) is overvolting my cpu? I have a mobile barton 2600+ with IQZFA stepping and the mobo doesn't even let me choose the default 1.45v but thats no biggie since im OC'ing anyways...the lowest is 1.55 or so and highest 1.85. I know there is a mod for this but don't want it atm. Anyways...I set the vcore to 1.65 and it shows up as 1.74-5 in the Hardware Monitor in the bios....and the same in Windows under MBM5. It seems to overvolt .5-1 volts. Any suggestions? I can just compensate for this but I'm not too worried.

yes asus a7n8x mobo overvlot a little the cpu to get better stabiliy.
it doesn t let u choose 1.45v because it not correctly reconaze your cpu
