I am looking for the name of a program that will allow me to control a computer from my main one via network interface.

I also need to know if it supports just control switching.. aka it wont switch the video feed over to my current monitor.. just the mice and keyboard.

I have 2 computers and 2 monitors but I only want to use 1 set of keyboard and mice... and since they are both USB, KVMs are too expensive.

Thanks for any help..

VNC is is a popular free program.

And depending what versions of windows you are running. You could use terminal services/Remote desktop

Any of you guys try Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/index.html)? I haven't tried it yet. But it looks good.

Well thanks for the input.. Here is the follow up..

Synergy RULES!!!

I decided to test this out.. this is the perfect program for what i was looking for!! It allows for one mouse and keyboard to switch between 2 copmuters with 2 monitors.. and does it well.

Anyway.. sorry for the rant.. but I just am soo happy with this program!!
