Is it hard to design a homemade cpu block that can compare to say a Danger Den Maze4, or be better than one?
I have access to a milling machine & shaper. Also what is the price compared to performance in both a home made & a commercial product.

No, considering the tools you have access to, it is very easy. You could make a block that equals or betters the DD Maze4 for a much lower cost.

I'll have to hit some of my local machine shops & see if I can get me some copper bar stock.
You guys have any links on Danger Den clones? Or similar types of blocks that are as good as or better? I know I definetly want 1/2" barbs.
I need some good info on dimemesions & what not.
I have a 2500+ Mobile

Most begginers try making a rotor# type block (but thats mainly beacuse it does not require a mill to make.
You can see a full comparison of it with other popular commercial blocks here: http://www.procooling.com/reviews/html/_rotor_waterblock_review_-_4_2.php
