its hard to compare cause the pc3200 is designed for 5/4 and tighter timings. the pc4000 is designed for1-1 and loose timings at 250+ speeds.if u want to run them both at 1-1, the pc4000 is faster hands down. however running the pc3200 at 5/4 may actually give u a higher fsb depending on how hi it will oc. for instance if ur pc4000 tops out at 265 1-1 and the pc3200 will run to 220 at 5/4 you will be capable of a higher oc.(275 fsb). of course this also depends on how fast ur cpu will go.

thats my whole problem, i got my 4000 at 3/2 2.5 4 4 8 and i cant get past 296 fsb on a 2.4c the chip is doing fine, its my ram that is holding me back. if i go to 3 4 4 8 then i cant boot for some reason.
i was wondering is it worth trying the 3200 to try to break the 300 fsb mark

i had the same prob with my adata pc4000 it quit at 295 no matter what ratio. i discovered that the prob was with the gat. it seems (at least with my ic7) the timings related to performance acceleration (or in some mb's game acceleration or gat -pat) really screw up hi speed loose timing ram. after turning off the some of the settings-changing around the rest, i finally got it to run past 295 at 3/2 , 5/4, and 1-1
