I need to know if I can conjure up some visible blue dye somehow. I hear that food coloring is bad. What about Blue Ink? Water Based acylic paint? Something at the art store? Besides blue anti freeze, I would like to make my water blue but I dont want to pay for shipping just to get some stupid dye.

blue like this dude :D :D :D :D

Some people use highlighter ink, it works for the most part and is UV reactive. Only problem is sometimes it turns brown or fades so mucg after a while its not visible.

hmm, i woulnt recomend food coloring or any of that stuff. i heard the food coloring would clump because of the heat in the water and clog your pump. If you want visible blue dye, get the Dyelite Deep Blue dye. Thats what im currently using.

What is Dyelite Deep Blue dye? I saw your setup on other galleries before. It looks good, how do you get it that color?
