another tv input card before i buy

my dad is wanting to get the usb external dazzle thing. I want an ati tv wonder pro or a leadtek winfast200xp dlx. Both have the s-video connection and tv. but he says he wants the dazzle because it does the red and white left/right audio input connections rather than the single line in on the cards and computers audio card. Is there a way to get a left right, or does the dazzle thing just fuse the lift and right into one line?

Anyways, the TV2000 XP Deluxe has stereo outputs and inputs, they just use the headphone style mini connectors instead of the phono/RCA style connectors the Dazzle does. You can find adapters that will convert between the RCA and headphone style connectors (I seem to be finding a lot of MONO adapters, but no stereo adapters so I can't provide a link).
